The idea of political correctness in America has paralyzed our conscience. We see issues that grab our attention and cause us to be stirred to action, but do nothing because we are afraid of being called a racist, bigot, hatemonger or other term. If we continue to operate in this mindset I fear that we will lose something much more precious then our pride. We will lose our country and our way of life here in America.

Look back just one generation ago when America was united against the German war machine. Media coverage of the war effort was inspiring and it presented the efforts of the government and military as critical to our way of life. Victories were reported and defeats were suppressed. Some in the liberal media today say, "Americans have the right to know what is going on." The truth is that people understand what war means. It is understood that there will be deaths and injuries on both sides. But we should not inundate the public with the gruesome scenes from the front lines. Most Americans do not want, or need, to witness the brutality of war.

Bringing home the troops from Iraq and Afghanistan will not end the war. The enemy we are currently engaged against does not wear a uniform. Simply put it is not even a person, but an ideal that has taken root in radical Islam. This twisted idea has grown into an intense hatred for anything, or anyone, that does not share the same twisted view. These terrorists are killing anyone that defies their belief, not in concentration camps but right on the streets throughout the world. Even here in North America we are starting to see "honor killings" among some Muslim communities. While this is tragic, it is even more tragic that America is considering allowing Sharia law when hearing a case in the courts. What happened? This country seems to no longer believe in its "greatness", and has chosen a policy of being apologetic for being a superpower. THIS IS AMERICA, live in it as an American or exercise your freedom to leave!
